Third Graders finished up their Marz Jr study today – with our buildings cut out and contrasted, students added smaller buildings around the focal point to add some perspective. We talked about how as the buildings got smaller, they seemed far away – thus we should make our windows and doors smaller as well. This was an easy and fun wrap up to the unit with…GREAT NEWS!
The company that originally donated the super-duper nice high quality paper to us has agreed that it would be really neat if they could display some of the artwork our third graders created…and better yet, the students drew these beautiful buildings and the company is an architecture firm! I mean, really it’s just too perfect.
Super proud of these kids and can’t wait to see where we go next! This group especially loves the impact their art makes on the world so it is so neat to know they will be displayed like that!
